Fun, hands-on Saturday afternoon sessions designed for all food lovers to enjoy whilst learning great new skills. the Sushi & Sake sessionA Sushi making session with a professional sushi chef together a relaxed tutored tasting of three quality sake wines presented by the wine school (there’s a bottle of Sake as a prize for best sushi made on the day!). the Ultimate Italian sessionA whistle-stop culinary tour for all Italophiles! Over the course of a relaxed and fun-packed day you’ll learn how to make four fantastic traditional Italian courses from scratch including: a traditional soup with fresh Italian bread, a seafood starter, handmade pasta with fresh pasta sauce, and to top it all off, a delicious traditional Italian dessert. Spend the afternoon in the company of a professional chef and a wine tutor, who’ll show you the principles of food & wine matching in a fun, hands-on way. You’ll watch delicious sample dishes made in front of you by our chef, picking up essential cooking tips and techniques along the way, then sample them with their perfect matching wine partner, finding out what does and doesn’t work well together – and why!
