Terms & Conditions

Please note that our terms & conditions are applicable to both cash and gift voucher bookings.

 

  1. Bookings for all courses are on a strictly first come, first served basis and confirmed only upon receipt of payment in full.
  2. Amendments to your booking including transfers or refunds (where appropriate) can only be made up to a minimum of 14 calendar days prior to your booking. Please note that refunds and transfers after this time will only be made at the sole discretion of the manager. Cancellations or transfer requests made after this time are subject to a £25 administration fee (applicable to both vouchers and cash bookings). Alternatively, you are welcome to send someone in your place at no cost, but would ask that you please notify us of any change in dietary requirement and the attendee’s name with as much notice as possible.
  3. Bristol School of Food & Wine reserves the right to alter course dates, course content and course tutors at their discretion. In the unfortunate event of a cancelled course or change of date will always try to give as much notice as possible in advance. The school will not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the cancellation of a course or change of date, and would advise all customers to purchase relevant insurance.
  4. All food allergies and intolerances must be stated clearly at the time of booking with us to allow us to provide any alternatives where possible, please note that we are unable to provide substitutes (i.e gluten free pasta) however you are welcome to provide your own where appropriate provided you let us know in advance. Although only some of our recipe’s contain nuts, the school is not an entirely nut free environment.
  5. In classes where alcohol is served along with the main meal, all students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult/parent. For classes where wine is a feature of the class all attendee’s must be 18 or over at the time of booking.
  6. Students who have booked a course lasting more than one session will not be refunded for any sessions missed. A transfer to join the missed session on the same course if run again at a later date will be granted at the manager’s sole discretion, and will be strictly subject to availability on the week of the class.
  7. In the event of adverse weather conditions where Bristol School of Food & Wine has not taken the decision to cancel a course, we are unable to offer any refunds or amendments to bookings. We would ask that you make your own assessment as to the safety of reaching the school, and would encourage you not to take unsafe risks. You are welcome to send someone to the class in your place.
