Make your event unforgettable with a workshop at The Cookery School. We offer a range of experiences to suit the theme of your event whether you’re team-building, entertaining clients, rewarding hard work or just looking for something different.

Our qualified chef-tutors will look after your party as they get hands-on in the Cookery School cooking supper, making canapés, mixing cocktails, competing against each other to make the best ravioli or enjoying the craft of artisan baking.

Cookery School workshops can be woven seamlessly into the fabric of your events and, in conjunction with other activities, we can cater for large groups with up to 15 delegates cooking at one time.

Our off the shelf range of 90 minute workshops includes:

  • ‘Easy wins’ – cook your own restaurant-standard supper

  • ‘Sublime steaks’ – cook and eat the perfect steak and béarnaise

  • ‘Sweet surrender’ – make delicious petits fours and truffles

  • ‘Charming cupcakes’ – superb sponge and the finest frosting

  • ‘Fish and shellfish’ – enjoy cooking the freshest fish

  • ‘Rise to the occasion’ – the joy of artisan baking

  • ‘Cocktails and canapés’ – make the best, mix the best

  • ‘Shape up!’ – in teams, competing to impress chef with the best pasta 

Sessions are either 'eat here' or 'take away'. These sessions can be booked individually or put together as part of a bigger event. We are delighted to create bespoke events. Cultural and dietary requirements can be accommodated with notice.

Profits from the Cookery School’s commercial activities support its Community Food Education fund and its work with schools, young people and the local authority.
